Flower of the month Birthday Card. October Birth flower. Marigolds

Hand made birthday card, in the naïve folk art style by Kathy Poitras. Inspired by Marigolds birth  flower of the month for October.  

Marigolds with a stain glass inspired background.  The original was created on watercolor paper. There are swirls and hearts and a swirly celebratory ribbon that says HAPPY BIRTHDAY.     The printed image is mounted by hand to acid free bristol board (cut and scored by hubby) and for the deluxe version,  the card is then lovingly hand embellished with artist quality glitter paint.  by me, the artist.  

A handmade Birthday Card is extra special.

Here's how.  Handwrite your message for the inside of the card, and either scan it and send it to me, or take a photo of the message and send it me .  I will then print it on the inside of the card for you, and mail the card to your intended recipient, with your return address on the envelope.
