Original hand embroidery and applique on felt.  Two red poppies plus one pink.    8.5 x 11 inches, created and hand-crafted by artist Kathy Poitras.  Completed June 20/21.  

My friend Debbie and I were walking and we spotted these glorious poppies in someone's front yard.  I had an incredible urge to immortalize them in hand embroidery on felt.
