Artist’s Statement

I used these principles while raising my own children, and they helped them navigate the world with confidence. Even when others around them struggled to make good choices, my kids had tools they could rely on.

When my children were young, I was a full‑time artist. We weren’t well off financially and often had to stretch every dollar. But no matter a child’s background or circumstances, these ideas can help them.

Every parent wants their child to be happy. Education is part of that, of course—but what about life itself? How do we prepare children for the everyday decisions that shape their future?

"How to Make Good Choices" is dedicated to empowering kids of all ages by giving them a simple, practical roadmap for making their own positive decisions.

This booklet is a child‑friendly adaptation of "The Way to Happiness" by L. Ron Hubbard—a non‑religious moral code and, I might add, a very beautiful book.
