An Artist-Led, Interactive Art Workshop for Adults
Facilitated by Canadian artist Kathy Poitras

Teaching is a profession of deep influence—yet it’s easy for educators to become so focused on others that they forget to reflect on their own lives. This workshop offers a rare opportunity for teaching staff to pause, recharge, and reconnect with the broader dimensions of their personal and professional existence.

🧠 What It's All About

In this uplifting and expansive 2-hour workshop, participants will explore eight distinct areas of life—from personal growth and relationships and beyond. For each area, teachers will create a visual interpretation using drawing and coloring to reflect how that part of life shows up for them. 
No artistic talent is required—just a willingness to express oneself. This art workshop is about the personal journey, not perfection.

🖼️ What You'll Receive

Each participant will be provided with:
•     A custom 11 x 17-inch template on heavy art paper (created by Kathy Poitras specifically for this workshop)
•     A reference booklet to guide your reflections
•     A variety of coloring tools: crayons, felt pens, and colored pencils will be available for use.
💲 Workshop Details
•     Duration: 2 hours: $225.00 for each session of 20 teachers

As an artist and person living on this crazy planet, Kathy Poitras developed this art exercise to uplift her fellows and help them realize that their sphere of influence is bigger than they may know. Through creative reflection, participants often rediscover their own purpose, passions, and the ripple effect they have on students, colleagues, and communities.

The experience is:

•     Relaxing – enjoy a peaceful, creative space
•     Fun – no pressure, just expression and color

Whether you're an experienced artist or someone who hasn’t picked up a crayon in years, this workshop is designed to be accessible, meaningful, and deeply affirming for every educator.

This workshop is based on a series of spiritual paintings inspired by Kathy's Buddhist roots and  the concept of the Dynamics of Existence, as described in the books:
•     The Fundamentals of Thought
•     by L. Ron Hubbard

These ideas serve as a foundation for exploring life in a meaningful and creative way.
