Every parent wants their child to be happy, but how do you achieve that? Certainly, making sure the child gets a good education is part of it, but what about life itself? How do you prepare them for that?
Good Choices is dedicated to empowering kids of all ages by teaching them how to make their own good decisions in life. The booklet called How to Make Good Choices, contains twenty-one common sense moral guidelines for living an ethical and productive life and demonstrates how this leads to personal happiness.
Parents, teachers, and youth leaders use “How to Make Good Choices” to help kids learn how to make good decisions. This book teaches children how to choose what’s best for them. It helps them feel confident in making their own choices.

This is a great book. It's like a compass show me how to act in life so I can have better life and create better life. Most importantly is EVERYONE can follow !
I have worked with preschool children for over 20 years and have applied these principles with them on a daily basis. For instance, I have used precept 20 "Try to treat others as you would want them to treat you" to assist in conflict resolution between children and find that it's such a basic concept that even young children can grasp it rather easily and it helps solve the problem. Also, I am a mother of two small children under 3 years old and I often find myself using the data in The Way to Happiness booklet to explain to my child the importance of getting a good night sleep, eating well and taking care of his body. It makes getting his willingness to do these things a lot easier and things just run more smoothly.
My son's teacher told us that he has been hitting other children and yelling at the teachers. I've been using the precepts in this book to help him understand what kinds of actions will make himself and those around him happy. He is very young but is beginning to be thoughtful and self-determined about his behavior. He really is learning to make good choices. This is a very good book for children of all ages.
